According to Hindusm, divinity incarnates itself, whenever the need arises, to save humanity in distress. God is not only omnipotent, but is also the lover and the subject of love, who always responds to the inner call of the devotee. He has planned creation through an ongoing process of evolution, a concept the Hindus have been aware of since ancient times.
All rugs should cared in same way. vacuum wool carpets, always moving the vacuum cleaner with the nap, never against the nap. Once a week, turn the carpet over and thoroughly vacuum the back. Do not vacuum or brush the fringe because vacuuming break it and brushing untwists it. Its important to watch the maids! They love to brush fringe and must strictly warned against doing so.
Take small silk rugs and wool carpets outside for a good shaking about once a week. To thoroughly dry out rugs and carpets, preventing mould, mildew and dry rot, lay rugs and carpets knot side up in the sun for three ao four hours. Then turn them right side up for not longer than one hour. Otherwise Rugs and Carpets should be protected from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
The Necklace is the most coveted and elaborate of women's ornaments in
India. In terms of construction, the neck ornaments can be classified into
three main types,i.e. the stiff choker type, the flexible necklace type and a
combination of the two having a stiff collar portion adorned with loose
hanging decorative pieces which keep shimmering with tremulous light. The
stiff collar element is either solid or hollow; the former being usually
adorned with chiselled or engraved patterns or even cast in one piece while
the latter has repousse work patterns. The loose hanging elements, usually
jingle bells, leaves, flowers, buds, stars or spangles are connected with the
choker with links or small chains. Often series of decorative units to act as
beads of different shapes are cast separately and strewn together to form a
necklace.
Personalized Charm Necklace - This delicate
necklace is charming and unique. You may inscribe the name of your baby on
the front and back of each individual charm and the birth date of your baby.
The necklace also comes adorned with the birthstone of your child, making
this jewelry distinct and wonderfully personal. Silver chain necklaces
are not gender-based at all. There are chain necklaces for men, and there
are necklaces for women. Ones for men are usually longer than those designed
for women.
Silver chain necklaces come in different styles and widths, too. If you
search online, you have a lot of options. The general rule is that if your
chain is thin and plain, a long pendant or a cross will look good in it. An
elaborate silver chain necklace already looks great as it is, so you do not
have to insert a pendant through it to accentuate it.
God Hanuman is described as having a short thick neck, a round red face, sharp white fangs, a mane like Ashoka flowers, a tail like Indra' s banner and ability to expand until he could be as large as a mountain or to contract until he could be as small as a fly.
So many interesting myths surround this god. Hanuman, when quite young,
saw the rising sun; he thought it to be a ripe fruit, jumped up to it
and seizing it put the sun into his mouth. All the gods and goddesses,
for fear that if swallowed the sun the whole world would perish, prayed
to him to spit out the sun. Hanuman agreed and the world was saved from
complete darkness. When only ten years old, Hanuman could lift the
hills sixteen or twenty miles in circumference and throw these like
stones.

Once swallowed by a monster, he expanded his body and the
monster had to vomit this god out. On another occasion when one monster
put Hanuman in his mouth, this god transformed himself into a very
small figure and emerged out of this monster's big ear. This story runs
thus: When Hanuman was on his flight to RAVANA'S Lanka on his job
assigned by Ram, a female-demon named SURASA saw that this monkey was
going to harm her near relative, Ravana. So in an effort to save her
cousin she swallowed Hanuman bodily. To avoid this Hanuman continued
expanding his body, while she continued stretching her mouth till it
was a hundred leagues wide. Suddenly Hanuman shrank his body and within
seconds he became thumb-sized. Taking the female demon by surprise he
darted forward and came out through her right ear. The scriptures state
that 'his form is as vast as a mountain' and as tall as a gigantic
tower. God Hanuman Sculptures at Amazon.com:-
His complexion is yellow and glowing like molten gold. His face
is as red as the brightest ruby while his enormous tail spreads out to
an interminable length. He stands on a lofty rock and roars like
thunder. He leaps into the air and flies among the clouds with a
rushing noise, while the ocean waves are roaring and splashing below.
Ramayana further says, The chief of monkeys is a perfect being. No one
can equal him in learning of SHASTRAS and in comprehending the meaning
and sense of scriptures. In all sciences and in the rules of austerity,
he rivals the preceptor of the gods. Hanuman is the ninth author of
grammar.
Shakyamuni who was said to be a "Buddha" by his followers, existed in a climate, apparently, where he was believed to be not the only Buddha. He taught in a society that was dominated by the early proponants of something called "Brahmanism" which arrogated priestly and religious functions into a single class of people.
For the Buddha, Buddhahood was not only for the elite. He and many of his followers were from the class of the Warriors and Kings. His efforts for enlightenment were later recaste in almost warrior-like language in order to appeal to and be understood by them. In his teachings, not only did he use examples of other Buddhas in other lands and times, he didn't teach that Buddhahood was solely the property of himself. Later, for the sake of reigning in arrogance, his followers laid the claim for being a Buddha to him specifically and theoretically. But he taught the principle that the purpose of the Buddha was to make all beings equal.

He appears to have been stimulated by different overlapping cultural heritages. One the one hand he inherited the Sanskrit above mentioned, Brahmanical tradition with it's "upanishads" and religious traditions. And on the other hand there were other traditions as well. There were traditions that were inherited from the Shamanism and occult practices of the people of India who weren't Ayran language speakers. There is some evidence that Buddhism arose from these traditions that predate Shakyamuni. And they influenced the rise of the "yogic" and "Tantra" traditions in the entire area.
Buddhism and indeed most World Religion beliefs rise from the cross fertilization between interlocked and interacting cultures. In this case the Indo-Iranian Cultural Complex (which extended as far in influence as Europe and included Hittites, Greeks, Persians as well as "Sanscrit" speakers in it's sphere of inheritance) and the Indian Subcontinent Cultural Complex reflected in this day by the so-called "Dravidian" languages. There is no question but that he was aware of the teachings of his times. Before he reached enlightenment he experimented with a number of existing contemplative traditions.
The wood carvings of the North-Eastern tribes are executed in a wood locally known as kumisyng, usually by older men, while the painting is done only by married men. Carvings of human heads, a relic of bygone head-hunting practices, tigers, elephants, the auspicious hornbill and pythons are all executed in high relief on pillars and posts outside the homes of wealthy and courageous men, symbolising the prestige accorded to them in society. High relief carvings, often painted, are also done on the main pillar and outside verandah of the morning or young boys' dormitory. It is believed that "the tigers will make the boys ferocious, the elephants will make them strong, the hornbills will make them fertile." Thus the carvings are said to have a sympathetic effect on their beholders.
The sculptures of human beings, normally smaller than life-size, are those of couples, mother and child, chieftains and warriors. Solemn expressions and decorations of cowrie shells, feathers, beads, hair and skull necklaces combined with the blunt tubular carving, give these Naga sculptures a magical, almost ominous appearance.
